Metaphor: ReFantazio, the highly anticipated upcoming role-playing video game from Studio Zero and publisher Atlus, is set to launch on October 11, 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. The game takes players on a journey through a medieval fantasy world that mirrors the contemporary real world, following a protagonist who sets out to protect his kingdom and lift a curse on his childhood friend, the crown prince. Developed by Studio Zero, a subsidiary of Atlus known for the Catherine series, Metaphor: ReFantazio features the involvement of key Persona series creators, including director Katsura Hashino, character designer Shigenori Soejima, and composer Shoji Meguro. The game's art style, inspired by medieval paintings and featuring a blend of fantasy and modern aesthetics, has already generated significant excitement among fans.
