What is AMVA Panel?
AMVA (Advanced Multi-Domain Vertical Alignment) is a type of LCD (Liquid Crystal Display) panel technology known for its ability to provide deep blacks, high contrast ratios, and wide viewing angles. It is an advancement over standard VA (Vertical Alignment) panels and is often used in monitors and televisions.
AMVA panels typically offer higher contrast ratios compared to IPS panels, making them ideal for viewing dark scenes in movies or games. Due to the alignment of the liquid crystals, AMVA panels can achieve deeper black levels, enhancing the overall picture quality. While not as wide as IPS panels, AMVA panels still provide good color consistency across various viewing angles. They offer decent color accuracy, making them suitable for general-purpose use, though they may not match the color precision of high-end IPS panels. AMVA panels have better response times than traditional VA panels, reducing motion blur in fast-moving content.
