What is ICR (Day & Night)?
ICR stands for "infrared cut filter removal" and refers to a feature in some cameras that enables automatic switching between color and black-and-white modes depending on lighting conditions.
During the day or when there is sufficient light, the camera uses the color mode, and the ICR filter is in place to block infrared light. However, in low-light conditions, the camera switches to black-and-white mode and the ICR filter is removed to allow infrared light to reach the camera's sensor, resulting in better image quality. This automatic switching between color and black-and-white modes helps to provide clear and detailed video footage regardless of lighting conditions.
