What is MVA Panel?
MVA (Multi-domain Vertical Alignment) is a type of LCD panel technology, an evolution of VA (Vertical Alignment) panels.
MVA panels are designed to provide improved image quality, particularly in terms of contrast, color depth, and black levels, compared to earlier VA panels. They are commonly used in televisions and monitors where high contrast and rich color reproduction are important. MVA panels are known for deep blacks and excellent contrast, making them ideal for watching movies or gaming in dark environments. Offers decent color accuracy, though not as high as IPS technology, but superior to standard TN (Twisted Nematic) panels. MVA panels offer better viewing angles than traditional VA panels, though still not as wide as IPS displays. MVA provides better image consistency and less distortion than older VA panels, thanks to better control of the liquid crystals. MVA panels tend to perform well in terms of brightness, making them suitable for various lighting environments.
